Our dedicated staff, comprising experienced piano, violin, guitar, and vocal teachers with extensive performance backgrounds and music university training, is committed to helping students discover the joy of music and achieve their musical goals. My niece Emerie has been attending Dan Forbes Music to learn drums. Her instructor is Corey . I can not thank Corey enough for being so significant in my nieces life. She thinks he’s a rock star and he totally is . So warm and welcoming and with the little time Emerie has had I feel like she has learned so much. He is instilling a skill in her that she will take with her for a lifetime whether she professionally pursues music or not she is learning discipline hard work creativity and confidence. I love this place and the staff up front as well . Paul you rock too!! Keep doing what you guys do because kids need people like you.

Dan Forbes Music has so much to offer! My kid has been taking piano lessons for a few months now, and I’ve noticed his skills improving. Dan gives my kid really good tips and pointers and what to practice on between lessons. He is also pretty flexible with scheduling lessons and makeups.
Dan has been giving my kids piano lessons for about a year now. Recently, for a make up lesson he asked if he could use the time to do something a bit different; he wanted to teach the kids “about” the piano. Of course I agreed, but WOW, I was not prepared for how amazing that would be. He, very carefully and gently as he would during a professional tuning, took the piano apart to revel all the inner workings. It was absolutely fascinating. I have owned that piano my entire life and I’ve never truly understood the intricacies of piano design and engineering. Myself, and my kids, were stunned and awed by the level of genius it must have taken to create such a dynamic instrument. I kept thinking, “This is amazing, how come I’ve never been shown this before?” I think it is such a shame that so many piano lessons have been given, and yet there is a lack of understanding of how a piano truly works. My kids and I now have a much greater appreciation for this beautiful instrument. I highly recommend this particular lesson from Dan. I truly hope that others have the opportunity to learn from him the way we have!
My son has now been playing with Dan for four years. Not only can he play but he has learned song writing, music theory and piano mechanics. Dan is kind, connects well with kids and makes learning fun.
