Dan Forbes Music does an amazing job of connecting with the students to make learning fun. My children have not only blossomed under this style but really grown to appreciate different instruments.

We have been using Forbes music for about 2 years now. We have expanded from piano lessons to also participating in lessons for guitar and vocal! All the teachers are excellent. Very professional and the kids enjoy them. Flexibility with virtual lessons and options is also a bonus!

We were able to have Dan Forbes come and tune a piano we recently purchased. He was very professional and took great care in his skilled work. We are very happy to have found him and will definitely hire him again. It was really wonderful to hear him play a bit as he finished, makes me very excited to play again.

Dan has been giving my kids piano lessons for about a year now. Recently, for a make up lesson he asked if he could use the time to do something a bit different; he wanted to teach the kids “about” the piano. Of course I agreed, but WOW, I was not prepared for how amazing that would be. He, very carefully and gently as he would during a professional tuning, took the piano apart to revel all the inner workings. It was absolutely fascinating. I have owned that piano my entire life and I’ve never truly understood the intricacies of piano design and engineering. Myself, and my kids, were stunned and awed by the level of genius it must have taken to create such a dynamic instrument. I kept thinking, “This is amazing, how come I’ve never been shown this before?” I think it is such a shame that so many piano lessons have been given, and yet there is a lack of understanding of how a piano truly works. My kids and I now have a much greater appreciation for this beautiful instrument. I highly recommend this particular lesson from Dan. I truly hope that others have the opportunity to learn from him the way we have!
